TLWC has two book discussion groups for those of us who enjoy reading. Groups meet monthly to discuss the selected book (chosen by the members) for that month. These lively one-to-one-and-a-half hour discussions bring out very interesting perspectives and opinions about each book. Groups meet in a member’s home or at the library, rotating leadership and hosting of the meeting.
Couples or Ladies Only!
These groups are open to bridge players of all skill levels. All games are non- competitive, using party bridge procedures. Games are held monthly at a member’s home, with members rotating hosting responsibilities.
This is an exciting, fun-filled dice game. No skill or experience is required, only the expectation of a lot of fun and friendship. Members of the groups rotate hosting the monthly games.
1st Monday - 10:00 AM
What better way to get the latest TLWC or community news than from your friends over a cup of coffee? Reservations are preferred, however drop-ins are welcome, too. These monthly get-togethers rotate among members' homes and are a great way to meet someone new to the club.
If you love to cook and eat, Colorado Living Lunch is the group for you. These monthly gatherings share in the cooking, providing themselves with a fabulous lunch based on a theme or common interest. Following lunch the recipes are critiqued with any failures always the fault of the recipe, never the cook.

The garden club provides education and resources to promote the love of gardening and is open to all regardless of a green or brown thumb. Activities vary and include garden tours to monthly meetings where specific subjects, themes, and approaches are explored. Special emphasis is placed on the challenges of gardening at high altitude.

4th Monday 12:30 - 3:30
The Stitch and Chat group members combine their love of quilting and sewing with service to the Tri-Lakes community. They meet from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM on the 4th Monday of the month where they engage in group projects each year to be donated to qualified individuals, while also enhancing their personal quilting skills. Each meeting consists of a mini workshop on some aspect of quilting, show-and-tell of personal projects, and creation of components for, and assembly of, quilts for donation. Meeting places rotate to different classrooms around our area. Each member needs simple quilting and/or sewing skills, a portable sewing machine, ability to contribute materials for the projects, a desire to advance their personal quilting skills. The group will host two field trips annually to learn more about local quilting shops and shows.
“Thank Goodness it’s Friday” is a monthly get-together for couples and singles, offering fun and relaxation at the end of a long week/month. It is held in members homes or venues such as The Barn. Members attending bring an appetizer or dessert. A minimal fee is charged to cover hostess expenses and beverages. A great way to build friendships!
Numerous Interest Groups are available to give members the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of other members. Once you become a member, you will have an on-line profile from which you can view and join any of our interest groups. But please do not hesitate to call us if you wish to attend a function, or obtain more information. Fun and friendship is a common goal in all the groups.
INTEREST GROUP GUIDELINES
Each interest group leader communicates with individual members by E-mail or the Evite program, setting their own guidelines for meeting procedures, locations, times, activities, fees, supply needs, and food requirements, etc. This information will be shared with the group at the beginning of the year and throughout the year as needed.
As Interest Group Coordinators and Leaders, you are automatically granted administrative web access to your groups, which allows you to perform a variety of tasks.
Additionally, as an Interest Group Coordinator, you will receive email notification when a member joins or leaves your group via the TLWC website. You don’t need to reply to these messages, however, these notifications give you opportunity to welcome new group members and add them to your group communication, including Evite.
