Each year the Tri-Lakes Women's Club has from one to several fundraisers, the main one being the PINE FOREST SPRING SHOW AND SALE. Unfortunately due to the COVID 19 virus, the sale had to be cancelled, but we'll be back in 2021, bigger and better than ever before!
An array of smaller fundraisers have been hosted over the years: Sales of tea, gift baskets, hosting social events, and much more. Proceeds from these fundraisers go to the funding of GRANTS, which are applied for and given to by various Tri-Lakes Non Profit organizations such as the Monument Police Department, the Palmer Lake Fire Department, Mountain Community Senior Services, Rocky Mountain Music Alliance, Tri-Lakes Cares, WMMI, and numerous District 38 schools.
For community support throughout the year, TLWC teams up with Kiwanis for Empty Bowls and Bell-Ringing for the Salvation Army.
The Tri-Lakes Women's Club encompasses many different interest and activity groups, some of which are charitable in nature. For example, the Stitch and Chat group makes quilts for Alzheimer's patients, the Knotty Pines singing group brings lots of joy to seniors when they sing at Senior Living facilities, and the Garden Club, among other things, donates their time and money to create educational gardens at Palmer Lake Elementary School.
All recipients of TLWC's charity are in the Tri-Lakes Area (School District 38).
